Sharlaine Menezes is a rap-pop artist from Goa, India, creating empowering hip-hop that blends sharp lyricism, melodic hooks, and fearless storytelling.

She first stepped onto a stage at four years old on All India Radio, but her journey into rap truly began after hearing one sentence too many: “Girls don't rap.”

Instead of shrinking to fit expectations, she turned doubt into fuel, becoming “Goa's first known female rapper with original music.”

A two-time TEDx speaker, Sharlaine has performed alongside Tracy De Sá and on lineups featuring Panther and Karma, while taking the stage at Comic Con, BLR HUBBA, Snapchat AR, and universities and festivals across India.

She also wrote and performed the official rap for the Northeast Futsal League, was the only Indian artist selected for the global IBIS campaign chosen by Pabllo Vittar, and continues to use music, workshops, and speaking engagements to inspire the next generation of artists to own their voice.
